Washington County, VA Emergency Management

Advanced Wireless Solutions was selected by the Washington County, VA Emergency Management Office to demolish an existing/abandoned site, provide engineering and site design, and then construction of this new central communications site atop Brumley Mountain in southwest Virginia. The project required extensive coordination and approvals with the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries (VA DGIF). Through a competitive bid process, AWS also procured the new 150’ self-support tower structure, along with the new equipment shelter. Other services included complete site clearing and grading, foundation installations, underground electrical services and grounding systems as well as installation of an LP gas emergency generator and security fencing.
