NATE Participates in Warriors 4 Wireless Veterans Day Event

(Carrollton, Texas) – A delegation of Board of Directors members from the National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE) attended the Warriors 4 Wireless Veterans Day program today at GrayWolves Telecom headquarters in Carrollton, Texas.

NATE Board of Directors Vice Chairman Jim Tracy, CEO of Legacy Telecommunications, Inc. in Burley, Washington participated as a speaker at today’s event. During his remarks, Tracy thanked the men and women who have courageously served the United States in order to protect the freedoms our nation was founded upon. He elaborated on the need for a national wireless training standard so that all our veterans can be assured of uniform high quality training. Tracy also talked about the impact his son’s military service has had on his family. Tracy’s son, SPC. Major Tracy, currently serves as an Infantryman in the U.S. Army and has served a tour of duty in Afghanistan.

Warriors 4 Wireless (W4W) is a 501(c) 3 organization that helps bridge the gap between the demand for trained wireless technicians and highly valued and well qualified men and women who have served our country so faithfully. W4W has launched training and certification programs with educational partners (i.e. Aiken Technical College in South Carolina) and with industry partners (i.e. GrayWolves Telecom in Dallas, Texas) to offer tower training, certification and career placement across the industry.

“On this Veterans Day, NATE encourages our members to take time to reflect on the countless sacrifices that have been made by those who have faithfully served in uniform for the United States of America,” said Executive Director Todd Schlekeway. “Please take the time today to thank the men and women, both past and present, who have dutifully served our great country,” Schlekeway added.
