A.W.S. Receives Public Utilities-Communications License

We are very pleased to announce the latest advancement within our company. Advanced Wireless Solutions is now officially licensed in Public Utilities-Communications for the state of North Carolina!

On October 7, 2014, Advanced Wireless Solution’s President Rick Moore and Chief Financial Officer Chip Montgomery traveled to the beautiful state of North Carolina to take the state PU-Communications Licensing exam. Their travel and efforts were certainly not in vein. Both gentlemen were successful in showcasing their knowledge and passion for safety and other important issues by passing the exam. With the newly earned license, A.W.S. will be able to extend our general contracting services to the state of North Carolina.

The PU-Communications classification covers the installation of all types of pole lines and aerial and underground distribution cable for telephone systems, aerial and underground distribution cable for cable TV and master antenna TV systems capable of transmitting RF signals, underground conduit and communication cable including fiber optic cable, microwave systems and towers including foundations and excavations where required when microwave systems are being used for the purpose of transmitting RF signals, and installation of PCS or cellular telephone towers and sites.
